[73:2]  1 tn The Hebrew verb normally means “to pour out,” but here it must have the nuance “to slide.”

[79:3]  2 tn Heb “they have poured out their blood like water, all around Jerusalem, and there is no one burying.”

[62:8]  3 tn To “pour out one’s heart” means to offer up to God intense, emotional lamentation and petitionary prayers (see Lam 2:19).
