90:16 May your servants see your work! ¹ 

May their sons see your majesty! ² 

Psalms 92:4

92:4 For you, O Lord, have made me happy by your work.

I will sing for joy because of what you have done. ³

95:9 where your ancestors challenged my authority, ⁴ 

and tried my patience, even though they had seen my work.

[90:16]  ¹ tn Heb “may your work be revealed to your servants.” In this context (note v. 17) the verb form יֵרָאֶה (yera’eh) is best understood as an unshortened jussive (see Gen 1:9; Isa 47:3).

[90:16]  ² tn Heb “and your majesty to their sons.” The verb “be revealed” is understood by ellipsis in the second line.

[92:4]  ³ tn Heb “the works of your hands.”

[95:9]  ⁵ tn Heb “where your fathers tested me.”
