[1:19] 1 tn Grk “Therefore write the things that you saw, and the things that are, and the things that will take place after these things.” Verse 19 could also be translated (taking καί…καί [kai…kai] as “both…and”): “Therefore write what you have seen, both what things currently are and what is going to happen after these things.” The structure of this verse is debated.
[2:15] 2 tn The term ὁμοίως (Jomoiws, “likewise”) is left untranslated because it is quite redundant.
[10:11] 3 tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence of events within the vision.
[10:11] 4 tn The referent of “they” is not clear in the Greek text.
[10:11] 5 tn Grk “and nations,” but καί (kai) has not been translated here or before the next item since English normally uses a coordinating conjunction only between the last two elements in a series of three or more.
[17:18] 4 tn Grk “And.” Because this remark is somewhat resumptive in nature, “as for” is used in the translation.
