7:10 They were shouting out in a loud voice,

“Salvation belongs to our God, ¹ 

to the one seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

[14:3]  ⁴ tn Grk “elders, and no one.” This is a continuation of the previous sentence in the Greek text, but because of the length and complexity of the sentence a new sentence was started here in the translation.

[98:1]  ¹⁵ tn Heb “his right hand delivers for him and his holy arm.” The right hand and arm symbolize his power as a warrior-king (see Isa 52:10). His arm is “holy” in the sense that it is in a category of its own; God’s power is incomparable.

[149:1]  ¹⁶ sn Psalm 149. The psalmist calls upon God’s people to praise him because he is just and avenges them.
