1:26 For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, ¹ 

Romans 9:21

9:21 Has the potter no right to make from the same lump of clay ²  one vessel for special use and another for ordinary use? ³ 

[1:26]  ¹ tn Grk “for their females exchanged the natural function for that which is contrary to nature.” The term χρῆσις (crhsi") has the force of “sexual relations” here (L&N 23.65).

[9:21]  ² tn Grk “Or does not the potter have authority over the clay to make from the same lump.”

[9:21]  ³ tn Grk “one vessel for honor and another for dishonor.”
