2:19 and if you are convinced ¹  that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,

13:12 The night has advanced toward dawn; the day is near. So then we must lay aside the works of darkness, and put on the weapons of light.

[2:19]  ¹ tn This verb is parallel to the verbs in vv. 17-18a, so it shares the conditional meaning even though the word “if” is not repeated.
