• [Rom 4:3] Faith In The Word Of God

  God says whosoever believes on His Son, Has pardon obtained and a new life begun; His sins blotted out, not by aught he has done, But thro’ faith in the Word of God! Refrain His Word is a strong eternal rock, Unshaken it stands thro’ fiercest shock; Though Satan and all his hosts may mock, I have faith in the Word of God! And God will make righteous and cleanse from all sin The one who the chiefest of sinners has been; He sanctifies wholly and justifies him Who has faith in the Word of God! Refrain O soul without God, without hope, without peace, Just now come to Him, let your doubtings all cease; He says He’ll receive you, your joys will increase, O have faith in the Word of God. • [Rom 4:7] Lord, How Secure And Blest Are They

  Lord, how secure and blest are they Who feel the joys of pardoned sin! Should storms of wrath shake earth and sea, Their minds have Heav’n and peace within. The day glides sweetly o’er their heads, Made up of innocence and love; And soft and silent as the shades Their nightly minutes gently move. Quick as their thoughts their joys come on, But fly not half so swift away; Their souls are ever bright as noon, And calm as summer evenings be. How oft they look to th’ heav’nly hills, Where groves of living pleasure grow! And longing hopes and cheerful smiles Sit undisturbed upon their brow. They scorn to seek our golden toys, But spend the day and share the night In numbering o’er the richer joys That Heav’n prepares for their delight. While wretched we, like worms and moles, Lie grov’ling in the dust below, Almighty grace, renew our souls, And we’ll aspire to glory, too.

  Look upon Jesus, sinless is He; Father, impute His life unto me. My life of scarlet, my sin and woe, Cover with His life, whiter than snow.   Will you go to Jesus now, dear friend? He is calling you today: Will you seek the bright and better land, By “the true and living Way”? Refrain I will, I will! by the grace of God, I will; I will go to Jesus now; I will heed the Gospel call, For the promise is for all; I will go to Jesus now.
