5:6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 6:2

6:2 Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

Romans 6:8-9

6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 6:9 We know ¹  that since Christ has been raised from the dead, he is never going to die ²  again; death no longer has mastery over him.
