• Siapakah Yang Menerima [KJ.124]

  1. Siapakah yang menerima kabar mulia sorgawi? Bukan para ahli Kitab, bukan pula para nabi, Bukan raja Yerusalem, bukan kaisar dari Roma: Hanyalah gembala di Betlehem.	Mat 2:3-4 , Luk 1:1-20
  2. Apakah berita baru yang disiarkan malaikat? Bukan kabar peperangan, bukan pengumuman iklan, Bukan mengenai wabah, bukanlah bencana alam: Raja damai lahir di Betlehem.	Yes 9:5
  3. Dan di manakah tempatnya Anak Raja dilahirkan? Bukan di rumah sakit, diawasi bidan ahli, Bukanlah tempat yang mewah, rumah orang pangkat tinggi, Tapi kandang domba di betlehem.
  4. Lalu, siapakah di sana menunggui Bayi Yesus? Bapak Yusuf, 'bu Maria yang merawat dan menjaga, Biri-biri ikut juga dan gembala sederhana. Bayi tidur aman di Betlehem.

  Arise, my tend’rest thoughts, arise, To torrents melt my streaming eyes; And thou, my heart, with anguish feel Those evils which thou canst not heal. See human nature sunk in shame! See scandals poured on Jesus’ Name! The Father wounded thro’ the Son; The world abused, the soul undone! See the short course of vain delight, Closing in everlasting night— In flames that no abatement know, Tho’ briny tears forever flow. My God, I feel the mournful scene! My bowels yearn o’er dying men! And fain my pity would reclaim And snatch the firebrands from the flame.

Zechariah 6:5

• [Zec 6:5] God Eternal, Lord Of All

  God eternal, Lord of all, Lowly at Thy feet we fall; All the earth doth worship Thee; We amidst the throng would be. All the holy angels cry, “Hail, thrice holy, God most high!” Lord of all the heavenly powers, Be the same loud anthem ours. Glorified apostles raise Night and day continual praise; Hast Thou not a mission, too, For Thy children here to do? With Thy prophets’ goodly line We in mystic bond combine; For Thou hast to babes revealed Things that to the wise were sealed. Martyrs, in a noble host, Of Thy cross are heard to boast; Since so bright the crown they wear, Early we Thy cross would bear. All Thy Church in Heav’n and earth Jesus, hail Thy spotless birth, Own the God Who all has made, And the Spirit’s soothing aid. Offspring of a virgin’s womb, Slain, and Victor o’er the tomb, Seated on the judgment throne, Number us among Thine own.
