	To take a millstone from a person amounted to depriving him of his ability to grind his meal to make his daily bread (v. 6). Evidently a small millstone is in view here, not a large one that required an animal to turn. Kidnapping violated the right to freedom of choice that God wanted every Israelite to enjoy (v. 7; cf.
