¹ Seven full days passed ²  after the Lord struck ³  the Nile.

and with cutting and setting stone, and with cutting wood, to work in all kinds of craftsmanship.

The Israelites, ¹  however, ²  were fruitful, increased greatly, multiplied, and became extremely strong, ³  so that the land was filled with them.

Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came and began to draw ¹  water ²  and fill ³  the troughs in order to water their father’s flock.

The enemy said, ‘I will chase, ¹  I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my desire ²  will be satisfied on them. I will draw ³  my sword, my hand will destroy them.’ ⁴ 

No woman will miscarry her young ¹  or be barren in your land. I will fulfill ²  the number of your days.

“Thus you are to do for Aaron and for his sons, according to all that I have commanded you; you are to consecrate them ¹  for ²  seven days.

and I have filled him with the Spirit of God ¹  in skill, ²  in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds ³  of craftsmanship,

He has filled him with the Spirit of God – with skill, with understanding, with knowledge, and in all kinds of work,

and in cutting stones for their setting, ¹  and in cutting wood, to do work in every artistic craft. ² 

They set on it ¹  four rows of stones: a row with a ruby, a topaz, and a beryl – the first row;

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

You ¹  are to speak to all who are specially skilled, ²  whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, ³  so that they may make ⁴  Aaron’s garments to set him apart ⁵  to minister as my priest.

You are to set in it a setting for stones, four rows of stones, a row with a ruby, a topaz, and a beryl – the first row;

“You are to clothe them – your brother Aaron and his sons with him – and anoint them ¹  and ordain them ²  and set them apart as holy, ³  so that they may minister as my priests.

and wrap the sashes around Aaron and his sons ¹  and put headbands on them, and so the ministry of priesthood will belong to them by a perpetual ordinance. Thus you are to consecrate ²  Aaron and his sons.

“The holy garments that belong to Aaron are to belong to his sons after him, so that they may be anointed ¹  in them and consecrated ²  in them.

They are to eat those things by which atonement was made ¹  to consecrate and to set them apart, but no one else ²  may eat them, for they are holy.

Moses said, “You have been consecrated ¹  today for the Lord, for each of you was against his son or against his brother, so he has given a blessing to you today.” ² 

Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled on it and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
