for all the large ships, ¹  for all the impressive ²  ships. ³ 

I overpowered kingdoms ruled by idols, ¹  whose carved images were more impressive than Jerusalem’s ²  or Samaria’s.

You are the most handsome of all men! ¹  You speak in an impressive and fitting manner! ²  For this reason ³  God grants you continual blessings. ⁴

This temple will become a heap of ruins; ¹  everyone who passes by it will be shocked and will hiss out their scorn, ²  saying, ‘Why did the Lord do this to this land and this temple?’

As for this temple, which was once majestic, ¹  everyone who passes by it will be shocked and say, ‘Why did the Lord do this to this land and this temple?’
