if you have experienced ¹  the Lord’s kindness. ² 

Notice therefore the kindness and harshness of God – harshness toward those who have fallen, but ¹  God’s kindness toward you, provided you continue in his kindness; ²  otherwise you also will be cut off.

¹  But “when the kindness of God our Savior and his love for mankind appeared,

Or do you have contempt for the wealth of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, and yet do not know ¹  that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?

But the fruit of the Spirit ¹  is love, ²  joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ³ 

May no one show him kindness! ¹  May no one have compassion ²  on his fatherless children!

Now may the Lord show you true kindness! ¹  I also will reward you, ²  because you have done this deed.

to demonstrate in the coming ages ¹  the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward ²  us in Christ Jesus.

“To the one in despair, kindness ¹  should come from his friend ²  even if ³  he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

ח (Khet) The Lord’s loyal kindness ¹  never ceases; ²  his compassions ³  never end.

For he never bothered to show kindness; ¹  he harassed the oppressed and needy, and killed the disheartened. ² 

How can I repay the Lord for all his acts of kindness to me?

¹ Then David asked, “Is anyone still left from the family ²  of Saul, so that I may extend kindness to him for the sake of Jonathan?”

They will talk about the fame of your great kindness, ¹  and sing about your justice. ²

But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him kindness. ¹  He granted him favor in the sight of the prison warden. ²
