So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if you are<n id="1" /> a son, then you are also an heir through God.<n id="2" />p>

Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool.<n id="1" /> For a person<n id="2" /> will reap what he sows,

<p class="bodytext">Now I mean that the heir, as long as he is a minor,<n id="1" /> is no different from a slave, though he is the owner<n id="2" /> of everything.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming<n id="1" /> a curse for us (because it is written, &#8220;<b><i>Cursed is everyone who hangs on a treei>b>&#8221;)<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> if a person<n id="2" /> is discovered in some sin,<n id="3" /> you who are spiritual<n id="4" /> restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness.<n id="5" /> Pay close attention<n id="6" /> to yourselves, so that you are not tempted too.

But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.<n id="1" />

For<n id="1" /> neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for<n id="2" /> anything; the only thing that matters is a new creation!<n id="3" />

Yet<n id="1" /> not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, although he was a Greek.

But when the appropriate time<n id="1" /> had come, God sent out his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

But when I saw that they were not behaving consistently with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas<n id="1" /> in front of them all, &#8220;If you, although you are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you try to force<n id="2" /> the Gentiles to live like Jews?&#8221;p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> I offer an example from everyday life:<n id="2" /> When a covenant<n id="3" /> has been ratified,<n id="4" /> even though it is only a human contract, no one can set it aside or add anything to it.

<t /><p class="bodytext">But you know it was because of a physical illness that I first proclaimed the gospel to you,

<t /><p class="bodytext">You<n id="1" /> foolish Galatians! Who has cast a spell<n id="2" /> on you? Before your eyes Jesus Christ was vividly portrayed<n id="3" /> as crucified!

For the whole law can be summed up in a single commandment,<n id="1" /> namely, &#8220;<b><i>You must love your neighbor as yourselfi>b>.&#8221;<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one<n id="1" /> who called you by the grace of Christ<n id="2" /> and are following<n id="3" /> a different<n id="4" /> gospel &#8211;

However, it is good<n id="1" /> to be sought eagerly<n id="2" /> for a good purpose<n id="3" /> at all times, and not only when I am present with you.

But even if we (or an angel from heaven) should preach<n id="1" /> a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you,<n id="2" /> let him be condemned to hell!<n id="3" />

But<n id="1" /> we did not surrender to them<n id="2" /> even for a moment,<n id="3" /> in order that the truth of the gospel would remain with you.<n id="4" />p>

For I did not receive it or learn it from any human source;<n id="1" /> instead I received it<n id="2" /> by a revelation of Jesus Christ.<n id="3" />p>
