We set sail ¹  from there, and on the following day we arrived off Chios. ²  The next day we approached ³  Samos, ⁴  and the day after that we arrived at Miletus. ⁵ 

From there we cast off ¹  and arrived at Rhegium, ²  and after one day a south wind sprang up ³  and on the second day we came to Puteoli. ⁴ 

On the next day, ¹  their rulers, elders, and experts in the law ²  came together ³  in Jerusalem. ⁴ 

but ¹  God raised him up on the third day and caused him to be seen, ² 

Now ¹  when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.

On the first day ¹  of the week, when we met ²  to break bread, Paul began to speak ³  to the people, and because he intended ⁴  to leave the next day, he extended ⁵  his message until midnight.

So the churches were being strengthened in the faith and were increasing in number every day. ¹ 

We put out to sea ¹  from Troas ²  and sailed a straight course ³  to Samothrace, ⁴  the next day to Neapolis, ⁵ 

The next day Paul went in with us to see James, and all the elders were there. ¹ 

The next day, because we were violently battered by the storm, ¹  they began throwing the cargo overboard, ² 

and on the third day they threw the ship’s gear ¹  overboard with their own hands.

So those who accepted ¹  his message ²  were baptized, and that day about three thousand people ³  were added. ⁴ 

As day was about to dawn, ¹  Paul urged them all to take some food, saying, “Today is the fourteenth day you have been in suspense ²  and have gone ³  without food; you have eaten nothing. ⁴ 

So ¹  they seized ²  them and put them in jail ³  until the next day (for it was already evening).

The next day they let ¹  the horsemen ²  go on with him, and they returned to the barracks. ³ 

but Saul learned of their plot against him. ¹  They were also watching ²  the city gates ³  day and night so that they could kill him.

On a day determined in advance, Herod ¹  put on his royal robes, ²  sat down on the judgment seat, ³  and made a speech ⁴  to them.

Every day ¹  they continued to gather together by common consent in the temple courts, ²  breaking bread from ³  house to house, sharing their food with glad ⁴  and humble hearts, ⁵ 

The sun will be changed to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and glorious ¹  day of the Lord comes.

The following day ¹  he entered Caesarea. ²  Now Cornelius was waiting anxiously ³  for them and had called together his relatives and close friends.
