<t /><p class="bodytext">The revelation of Jesus Christ,<n id="1" /> which God gave him to show his servants<n id="2" /> what must happen very soon.<n id="3" /> He made it clear<n id="4" /> by sending his angel to his servant<n id="5" /> John,

&#8220;Do not damage the earth or the sea or the trees until we have put a seal on the foreheads of the servants<n id="1" /> of our God.&#8221;

And there will no longer be any curse,<n id="1" /> and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city.<n id="2" /> His<n id="3" /> servants<n id="4" /> will worship<n id="5" /> him,

But I have this against you: You tolerate that<n id="1" /> woman<n id="2" /> Jezebel,<n id="3" /> who calls herself a prophetess, and by her teaching deceives<n id="4" /> my servants<n id="5" /> to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.<n id="6" />

Then<n id="1" /> the kings of the earth, the<n id="2" /> very important people, the generals,<n id="3" /> the rich, the powerful, and everyone, slave<n id="4" /> and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

But in the days<n id="1" /> when the seventh angel is about to blow his trumpet, the mystery of God is completed,<n id="2" /> just as he has<n id="3" /> proclaimed to his servants<n id="4" /> the prophets.&#8221;

He also caused<n id="1" /> everyone (small and great, rich and poor, free and slave<n id="2" />) to obtain a mark on their right hand or on their forehead.

<p class="poetry">because his judgments are true and just.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">For he has judged<n id="2" /> the great prostitutep> <p class="poetry">who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality,p> <p class="poetry">and has avenged the blood of his servants<n id="3" /> poured out by her own hands!&#8221;<n id="4" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> a voice came from the throne, saying:p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;Praise our Godp> <p class="poetry">all you his servants,p> <p class="poetry">and all you who fear Him,p> <p class="poetry">both the small and the great!&#8221;p>

<p class="poetry">to eat<n id="1" /> your fill<n id="2" /> of the flesh of kings,p> <p class="poetry">the flesh of generals,<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">the flesh of powerful people,p> <p class="poetry">the flesh of horses and those who ride them,p> <p class="poetry">and the flesh of all people, both free and slave,<n id="4" />p> <p class="poetry">and small and great!&#8221;p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> the angel<n id="2" /> said to me, &#8220;These words are reliable<n id="3" /> and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants<n id="4" /> what must happen soon.&#8221;p>

<p class="poetry">The<n id="1" /> nations<n id="2" /> were enraged,p> <p class="poetry">but<n id="3" /> your wrath has come,p> <p class="poetry">and the time has come for the dead to be judged,p> <p class="poetry">and the time has come to give to your servants,<n id="4" />p> <p class="poetry">the prophets, their reward,p> <p class="poetry">as well as to the saintsp> <p class="poetry">and to those who revere<n id="5" /> your name, both small and great,p> <p class="poetry">and the time has come<n id="6" /> to destroy those who destroy<n id="7" /> the earth.&#8221;p>

They<n id="1" /> sang the song of Moses the servant<n id="2" /> of God and the song of the Lamb:<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;Great and astounding are your deeds,p> <p class="poetry">Lord God, the All-Powerful!<n id="4" />p> <p class="poetry">Just<n id="5" /> and true are your ways,p> <p class="poetry">King over the nations!<n id="6" />p>
