Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is he not the God of the Gentiles too? Yes, of the Gentiles too!

<t /><p class="bodytext">We are Jews by birth<n id="1" /> and not Gentile sinners,<n id="2" />

For nation will rise up in arms<n id="1" /> against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines<n id="2" /> and earthquakes<n id="3" /> in various places.

They<n id="1" /> will fall by the edge<n id="2" /> of the sword and be led away as captives<n id="3" /> among all nations. Jerusalem<n id="4" /> will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.<n id="5" />p>

For nation will rise up in arms<n id="1" /> against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines.<n id="2" /> These are but the beginning of birth pains.p>

But again I ask, didn&#8217;t Israel understand?<n id="1" /> First Moses says, &#8220;<b><i>I will make you jealous by those who are not a nation; with a senseless nation I will provoke you to angeri>b>.&#8221;<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Seeing that I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

and thus the Gentiles glorify God for his mercy.<n id="1" /> As it is written, &#8220;<i><b>Because of this I will confess you among the Gentilesb>, <b>and I will sing praises to your nameb>i>.&#8221;<n id="2" />

And again Isaiah says, &#8220;<i><b>The root of Jesse will comeb>, <b>and the one who rises to rule over the Gentilesb>, <b>in him will the Gentiles hopeb>i>.&#8221;<n id="1" />

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, proclaimed the gospel to Abraham ahead of time,<n id="1" /> saying, &#8220;<b><i>All the nationsi>b><n id="2" /> <b><i>will be blessed in youi>b><sc>.&#8221;sc><n id="3" />

<p class="otpoetry">&#8220;<b><i>Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,i>b>p> <p class="otpoetry"><b><i>the way by the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles &#8211;i>b>p>

And you will be brought before governors and kings<n id="1" /> because of me, as a witness to them and the Gentiles.

First the gospel must be preached to all nations.

<p class="poetry">a light,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">for revelation to the Gentiles,p> <p class="poetry">and for glory<n id="2" /> to your people Israel.&#8221;p>

because he loves our nation,<n id="1" /> and even<n id="2" /> built our synagogue.&#8221;<n id="3" />

For he will be handed over<n id="1" /> to the Gentiles; he will be mocked,<n id="2" /> mistreated,<n id="3" /> and spat on.<n id="4" />

After<n id="1" /> he had destroyed<n id="2" /> seven nations<n id="3" /> in the land of Canaan, he gave his people their land as an inheritance.<n id="4" />

Then<n id="1" /> he said to me, &#8216;Go, because I will send you far away to the Gentiles.&#8217;&#8221;p>
