Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to look for Saul,

So Paul left the Areopagus.<n id="1" />

When they came out of the prison, they entered Lydia&#8217;s house, and when they saw the brothers, they encouraged them and then<n id="1" /> departed.p>

She continued to do this for many days. But Paul became greatly annoyed,<n id="1" /> and turned<n id="2" /> and said to the spirit, &#8220;I command you in the name of Jesus Christ<n id="3" /> to come out of her!&#8221; And it came out of her at once.<n id="4" />

but Paul chose Silas and set out, commended<n id="1" /> to the grace of the Lord by the brothers and sisters.<n id="2" />

After he spent<n id="1" /> some time there, Paul left and went through the region of Galatia<n id="2" /> and Phrygia,<n id="3" /> strengthening all the disciples.p>

Then Paul<n id="1" /> went back upstairs,<n id="2" /> and after he had broken bread and eaten, he talked with them<n id="3" /> a long time, until dawn. Then he left.

Thus one of the men<n id="1" /> who have accompanied us during all the time the Lord Jesus associated with<n id="2" /> us,

and said to him, &#8216;<b><i>Go out from your country and from your relatives, and come to the land I will show youi>b>.&#8217;<n id="1" />

<b><i>But I will punishi>b><n id="1" /> <b><i>the nation they serve as slavesi>b>,&#8217; said God, &#8216;<b><i>and after these things they will come out of therei>b><n id="2" /> and <i>worshipi><n id="3" /> <i>me in this placei>.&#8217;<n id="4" />

For unclean spirits,<n id="1" /> crying with loud shrieks, were coming out of many who were possessed,<n id="2" /> and many paralyzed and lame people were healed.

So Peter<n id="1" /> invited them in and entertained them as guests.p> <p class="bodytext">On the next day he got up and set out<n id="2" /> with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa<n id="3" /> accompanied him.

Peter<n id="1" /> went out<n id="2" /> and followed him;<n id="3" /> he did not realize that what was happening through the angel was real,<n id="4" /> but thought he was seeing a vision.

But after the disciples had surrounded him, he got up and went back<n id="1" /> into the city. On<n id="2" /> the next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe.<n id="3" />p>

After Paul<n id="1" /> saw the vision, we attempted<n id="2" /> immediately to go over to Macedonia,<n id="3" /> concluding that God had called<n id="4" /> us to proclaim the good news to them.p>

On the Sabbath day we went outside the city gate to the side of the river, where we thought there would be a place of prayer, and we sat down<n id="1" /> and began to speak<n id="2" /> to the women<n id="3" /> who had assembled there.<n id="4" />

The jailer reported these words to Paul, saying,<n id="1" /> &#8220;The magistrates have sent orders<n id="2" /> to release you. So come out now and go in peace.&#8221;<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">After the disturbance had ended, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging<n id="1" /> them and saying farewell,<n id="2" /> he left to go to Macedonia.<n id="3" />

On the next day we left<n id="1" /> and came to Caesarea,<n id="2" /> and entered<n id="3" /> the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven,<n id="4" /> and stayed with him.

and saw the Lord<n id="1" /> saying to me, &#8216;Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.&#8217;
