Immediately<n id="1" /> something like scales<n id="2" /> fell from his eyes, and he could see again. He<n id="3" /> got up and was baptized,

and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues,<n id="1" /> saying, &#8220;This man is the Son of God.&#8221;<n id="2" />

Peter<n id="1" /> said to him, &#8220;Aeneas, Jesus the Christ<n id="2" /> heals you. Get up and make your own bed!&#8221;<n id="3" /> And immediately he got up.

After Paul<n id="1" /> saw the vision, we attempted<n id="2" /> immediately to go over to Macedonia,<n id="3" /> concluding that God had called<n id="4" /> us to proclaim the good news to them.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">The brothers sent Paul and Silas off to Berea<n id="1" /> at once, during the night. When they arrived,<n id="2" /> they went to the Jewish synagogue.<n id="3" />

Then the brothers sent Paul away to the coast<n id="1" /> at once, but Silas and Timothy remained in Berea.<n id="2" />

The whole city was stirred up,<n id="1" /> and the people rushed together.<n id="2" /> They seized<n id="3" /> Paul and dragged him out of the temple courts,<n id="4" /> and immediately the doors were shut.

Then those who were about to interrogate him stayed away<n id="1" /> from him, and the commanding officer<n id="2" /> was frightened when he realized that Paul<n id="3" /> was<n id="4" /> a Roman citizen<n id="5" /> and that he had had him tied up.<n id="6" />p>

After they had passed the first and second guards,<n id="1" /> they came to the iron<n id="2" /> gate leading into the city. It<n id="3" /> opened for them by itself,<n id="4" /> and they went outside and walked down one narrow street,<n id="5" /> when at once the angel left him.
