<t /><p class="bodytext">Jesus<n id="1" /> said these things while he was teaching in the synagogue<n id="2" /> in Capernaum.<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">When he entered Capernaum,<n id="1" /> a centurion<n id="2" /> came to him asking for help:<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> they went to Capernaum.<n id="2" /> When the Sabbath came,<n id="3" /> Jesus<n id="4" /> went into the synagogue<n id="5" /> and began to teach.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> after some days, when he returned to Capernaum,<n id="2" /> the news spread<n id="3" /> that he was at home.

And you, Capernaum,<n id="1" /> will you be exalted to heaven?<n id="2" /> No, you will be thrown down to Hades!<n id="3" />p>

While in Galilee, he moved from Nazareth<n id="1" /> to make his home in Capernaum<n id="2" /> by the sea,<n id="3" /> in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> they came to Capernaum.<n id="2" /> After Jesus<n id="3" /> was inside the house he asked them, &#8220;What were you discussing on the way?&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">So<n id="1" /> he went down to Capernaum,<n id="2" /> a town<n id="3" /> in Galilee, and on the Sabbath he began to teach the people.<n id="4" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">After Jesus<n id="1" /> had finished teaching all this to the people,<n id="2" /> he entered Capernaum.<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">After<n id="1" /> they arrived in Capernaum,<n id="2" /> the collectors of the temple tax<n id="3" /> came to Peter and said, &#8220;Your teacher pays the double drachma tax, doesn&#8217;t he?&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">After this he went down to Capernaum<n id="1" /> with his mother and brothers<n id="2" /> and his disciples, and they stayed there a few days.

got into a boat, and started to cross the lake<n id="1" /> to Capernaum.<n id="2" /> (It had already become dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.)<n id="3" />

And you, Capernaum,<n id="1" /> will you be exalted to heaven?<n id="2" /> No, you will be thrown down to Hades!<n id="3" /> For if the miracles done among you had been done in Sodom, it would have continued to this day.

Jesus<n id="1" /> said to them, &#8220;No doubt you will quote to me the proverb, &#8216;Physician, heal yourself!&#8217;<n id="2" /> and say, &#8216;What we have heard that you did in Capernaum,<n id="3" /> do here in your hometown too.&#8217;&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now he came again to Cana<n id="1" /> in Galilee where he had made the water wine.<n id="2" /> In<n id="3" /> Capernaum<n id="4" /> there was a certain royal official<n id="5" /> whose son was sick.

So when the crowd realized that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats<n id="1" /> and came to Capernaum<n id="2" /> looking for Jesus.p>
