For all who have sinned apart from the law<n id="1" /> will also perish apart from the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam (who is a type<n id="1" /> of the coming one) transgressed.<n id="2" />
