because you are attaining the goal of your faith – the salvation of your souls.p>

For the one who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong,<n id="1" /> and there are no exceptions.<n id="2" />

And these all were commended<n id="1" /> for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised.<n id="2" />

Then<n id="1" /> when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that never fades away.p>

because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this<n id="1" /> will be rewarded by the Lord.p>

For you need endurance in order to do God&#8217;s will and so receive what is promised.<n id="1" />

and he reasoned<n id="1" /> that God could even raise him from the dead, and in a sense<n id="2" /> he received him back from there.

Then you should have deposited my money with the bankers,<n id="1" /> and on my return I would have received my money back with interest!<n id="2" />

These all died in faith without receiving the things promised,<n id="1" /> but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners<n id="2" /> on the earth.
