Therefore do not be partakers with them,<n id="1" />

For this reason I ask you<n id="1" /> not to lose heart because of what I am suffering for you,<n id="2" /> which<n id="3" /> is your glory.<n id="4" />p>

Now what is the meaning of &#8220;<b><i>he ascendedi>b>,&#8221; except that he also descended<n id="1" /> to the lower regions,<n id="2" /> namely, the earth?<n id="3" />

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

<p class="bodytext">Fathers,<n id="1" /> do not provoke your children to anger,<n id="2" /> but raise them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.p>

not like those who do their work only when someone is watching<n id="1" /> &#8211; as people-pleasers &#8211; but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.<n id="2" />

You must let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for the building up of the one in need,<n id="1" /> that it may give grace to those who hear.

so that he<n id="1" /> may present the church to himself as glorious &#8211; not having a stain or wrinkle, or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.<n id="2" />

that you were at that time without the Messiah,<n id="1" /> alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise,<n id="2" /> having no hope and without God in the world.
