And the disciples were filled with joy<n id="1" /> and with the Holy Spirit.p>

and said to them, &#8220;Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?&#8221;<n id="1" /> They replied,<n id="2" /> &#8220;No, we have not even<n id="3" /> heard that there is a Holy Spirit.&#8221;

until the day he was taken up to heaven,<n id="1" /> after he had given orders<n id="2" /> by<n id="3" /> the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit,<n id="1" /> replied,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Rulers of the people and elders,<n id="3" />

And we are witnesses of these events,<n id="1" /> and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey<n id="2" /> him.&#8221;p>
