and as they sailed he fell asleep. Now a violent windstorm<n id="1" /> came down on the lake,<n id="2" /> and the boat<n id="3" /> started filling up with water, and they were in danger.

<p class="bodytext">When<n id="1" /> John&#8217;s messengers had gone, Jesus<n id="2" /> began to speak to the crowds about John: &#8220;What did you go out into the wilderness<n id="3" /> to see? A reed shaken by the wind?<n id="4" />

They<n id="1" /> came<n id="2" /> and woke him, saying, &#8220;Master, Master,<n id="3" /> we are about to die!&#8221; So<n id="4" /> he got up and rebuked<n id="5" /> the wind and the raging waves;<n id="6" /> they died down, and it was calm.

Then<n id="1" /> he said to them, &#8220;Where is your faith?&#8221;<n id="2" /> But they were afraid and amazed,<n id="3" /> saying to one another, &#8220;Who then is this? He commands even the winds and the water,<n id="4" /> and they obey him!&#8221;p>
