and they went on to another village.p>

<p class="bodytext">So they approached the village where they were going. He acted as though he wanted to go farther,<n id="1" />

But he passed through the crowd<n id="1" /> and went on his way.<n id="2" />p>

Everyone<n id="1" /> went to his own town<n id="2" /> to be registered.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> Jesus&#8217;<n id="2" /> parents went to Jerusalem<n id="3" /> every<n id="4" /> year for the feast of the Passover.<n id="5" />

but the villagers<n id="1" /> refused to welcome<n id="2" /> him, because he was determined to go to Jerusalem.<n id="3" />

Then<n id="1" /> he said to the man,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Get up and go your way. Your faith has made you well.&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">After Jesus<n id="1" /> had said this, he continued on ahead,<n id="2" /> going up to Jerusalem.<n id="3" />

As<n id="1" /> he rode along, they<n id="2" /> spread their cloaks on the road.

<p class="bodytext">The next morning<n id="1" /> Jesus<n id="2" /> departed and went to a deserted place. Yet<n id="3" /> the crowds were seeking him, and they came to him and tried to keep him from leaving them.

For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me.<n id="1" /> I say to this one, &#8216;Go,&#8217; and he goes,<n id="2" /> and to another, &#8216;Come,&#8217; and he comes, and to my slave, &#8216;Do this,&#8217; and he does it.&#8221;<n id="3" />

They<n id="1" /> were both righteous in the sight of God, following<n id="2" /> all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly.<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">In those days<n id="1" /> Mary got up and went hurriedly into the hill country, to a town of Judah,<n id="2" />

He<n id="1" /> said to the woman, &#8220;Your faith<n id="2" /> has saved you;<n id="3" /> go in peace.&#8221;p>

Then<n id="1" /> he said to her, &#8220;Daughter, your faith has made you well.<n id="2" /> Go in peace.&#8221;p>

He<n id="1" /> sent messengers on ahead of him.<n id="2" /> As they went along,<n id="3" /> they entered a Samaritan village to make things ready in advance<n id="4" /> for him,

<t /><p class="bodytext">As<n id="1" /> they were walking<n id="2" /> along the road, someone said to him, &#8220;I will follow you wherever you go.&#8221;<n id="3" />

Nevertheless I must<n id="1" /> go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, because it is impossible<n id="2" /> that a prophet should be killed<n id="3" /> outside Jerusalem.&#8217;<n id="4" />

Then<n id="1" /> the rich man<n id="2" /> said, &#8216;No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead<n id="3" /> goes to them, they will repent.&#8217;

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now on<n id="1" /> the way to Jerusalem,<n id="2" /> Jesus<n id="3" /> was passing along<n id="4" /> between Samaria and Galilee.
