So do not be afraid;<n id="1" /> you are more valuable than many sparrows.p>

Although<n id="1" /> Herod<n id="2" /> wanted to kill John,<n id="3" /> he feared the crowd because they accepted John as a prophet.

When the disciples heard this, they were overwhelmed with fear and threw themselves down with their faces to the ground.<n id="1" />

They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, because the crowds<n id="1" /> regarded him as a prophet.p>

Do<n id="1" /> not be afraid of those who kill the body<n id="2" /> but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.<n id="3" />

When<n id="1" /> the crowd saw this, they were afraid<n id="2" /> and honored God who had given such authority to men.<n id="3" />p>

But immediately Jesus<n id="1" /> spoke to them:<n id="2" /> &#8220;Have courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.&#8221;

But when he saw the strong wind he became afraid. And starting to sink, he cried out,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Lord, save me!&#8221;

But Jesus came and touched them. &#8220;Get up,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Do not be afraid.&#8221;

But if we say, &#8216;From people,&#8217; we fear the crowd, for they all consider John to be a prophet.&#8221;

so<n id="1" /> I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.&#8217;

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;Do<n id="1" /> not be afraid of them, for nothing is hidden<n id="2" /> that will not be revealed,<n id="3" /> and nothing is secret that will not be made known.

But the angel said<n id="1" /> to the women, &#8220;Do not be afraid; I know<n id="2" /> that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.<n id="3" />

Then Jesus said to them, &#8220;Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee. They will see me there.&#8221;p>

But when he heard that Archelaus<n id="1" /> was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod,<n id="2" /> he was afraid to go there. After being warned in a dream, he went to the regions of Galilee.

Now when the centurion<n id="1" /> and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and what took place, they were extremely terrified and said, &#8220;Truly this one was God&#8217;s Son!&#8221;

When he had contemplated this, an<n id="1" /> angel of the Lord<n id="2" /> appeared to him in a dream and said, &#8220;Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
