So they spent<n id="1" /> considerable<n id="2" /> time with the disciples.p>

And they paid close attention to him because he had amazed them for a long time with his magic.

For<n id="1" /> a period of about forty years he put up with<n id="2" /> them in the wilderness.<n id="3" />

After<n id="1" /> they had spent some time there,<n id="2" /> they were sent off in peace by the brothers to those who had sent them.

When they asked him to stay longer, he would not consent,<n id="1" />

Therefore, although God has overlooked<n id="1" /> such times of ignorance,<n id="2" /> he now commands all people<n id="3" /> everywhere to repent,<n id="4" />

After he spent<n id="1" /> some time there, Paul left and went through the region of Galatia<n id="2" /> and Phrygia,<n id="3" /> strengthening all the disciples.p>

He told them, &#8220;You are not permitted to know<n id="1" /> the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.

This one<n id="1" /> heaven must<n id="2" /> receive until the time all things are restored,<n id="3" /> which God declared<n id="4" /> from times long ago<n id="5" /> through his holy prophets.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;But as the time drew near for God to fulfill the promise he had declared to Abraham,<n id="1" /> the people increased greatly in number<n id="2" /> in Egypt,

But when he was about forty years old, it entered his mind<n id="1" /> to visit his fellow countrymen<n id="2" /> the Israelites.<n id="3" />

So after sending<n id="1" /> two of his assistants,<n id="2" /> Timothy and Erastus, to Macedonia,<n id="3" /> he himself stayed on for a while in the province of Asia.<n id="4" />p>
