And now, brothers, I know you acted in ignorance,<n id="1" /> as your rulers did too.

Just as you were formerly disobedient to God, but have now received mercy due to their disobedience,

For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

But just as at that time the one born by natural descent<n id="1" /> persecuted the one born according to the Spirit,<n id="2" /> so it is now.

When<n id="1" /> you pray, do not babble repetitiously like the Gentiles, because they think that by their many words they will be heard.

As<n id="1" /> the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be at the end of the age.

For just like the days of Noah<n id="1" /> were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.

For just like the lightning<n id="1" /> comes from the east and flashes to the west, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.

All<n id="1" /> the nations will be assembled before him, and he will separate people one from another like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

For just like the lightning flashes<n id="1" /> and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.<n id="2" />

Suddenly<n id="1" /> a sound<n id="2" /> like a violent wind blowing<n id="3" /> came from heaven<n id="4" /> and filled the entire house where they were sitting.

Then as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on<n id="1" /> them just as he did<n id="2" /> on us at the beginning.<n id="3" />

For just as through the disobedience of the one man<n id="1" /> many<n id="2" /> were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man<n id="3" /> many<n id="4" /> will be made righteous.
