But<n id="1" /> those tenants<n id="2" /> seized his slave,<n id="3" /> beat him,<n id="4" /> and sent him away empty-handed.<n id="5" />

He begged Jesus<n id="1" /> repeatedly not to send them out of the region.

So<n id="1" /> the king sent an executioner at once to bring John&#8217;s<n id="2" /> head, and he went and beheaded John in prison.

Jesus<n id="1" /> sent him home, saying, &#8220;Do not even go into the village.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

So<n id="1" /> he sent another slave to them again. This one they struck on the head and treated outrageously.

He sent two of his disciples and told them, &#8220;Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar<n id="1" /> of water will meet you. Follow him.
