<p class="bodytext">&#8220;I do not accept<n id="1" /> praise<n id="2" /> from people,<n id="3" />

For they loved praise<n id="1" /> from men more than praise<n id="2" /> from God.p>

<p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> the Word became flesh<n id="2" /> and took up residence<n id="3" /> among us. We<n id="4" /> saw his glory &#8211; the glory of the one and only,<n id="5" /> full of grace and truth, who came from the Father.

How can you believe, if you accept praise<n id="1" /> from one another and don&#8217;t seek the praise<n id="2" /> that comes from the only God?<n id="3" />p>

<p class="bodyblock">Isaiah said these things because he saw Christ&#8217;s<n id="1" /> glory, and spoke about him.p>

The person who speaks on his own authority<n id="1" /> desires<n id="2" /> to receive honor<n id="3" /> for himself; the one who desires<n id="4" /> the honor<n id="5" /> of the one who sent him is a man of integrity,<n id="6" /> and there is no unrighteousness in him.

I am not trying to get<n id="1" /> praise for myself.<n id="2" /> There is one who demands<n id="3" /> it, and he also judges.<n id="4" />

Jesus responded,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Didn&#8217;t I tell you that if you believe, you would see the glory of God?&#8221;

The glory<n id="1" /> you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one &#8211;

Jesus did this as the first of his miraculous signs,<n id="1" /> in Cana<n id="2" /> of Galilee. In this way he revealed<n id="3" /> his glory, and his disciples believed in him.<n id="4" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Then they summoned<n id="1" /> the man who used to be blind<n id="2" /> a second time and said to him, &#8220;Promise before God to tell the truth.<n id="3" /> We know that this man<n id="4" /> is a sinner.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,<n id="1" /> so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world<n id="2" />.
