Then<n id="1" /> a little later someone else<n id="2" /> saw him and said, &#8220;You are one of them too.&#8221; But Peter said, &#8220;Man,<n id="3" /> I am not!&#8221;

Pilate said to them, &#8220;Take<n id="1" /> a guard of soldiers. Go and make it as secure as you can.&#8221;

The man<n id="1" /> said to him, &#8220;Teacher, I have wholeheartedly obeyed<n id="2" /> all these laws<n id="3" /> since my youth.&#8221;<n id="4" />

Peter said to him, &#8220;Even if they all fall away, I will not!&#8221;

[He said, &#8220;Lord, I believe,&#8221; and he worshiped him.<n id="1" />

Jesus said to him, &#8220;Once again it is written: &#8216;<b><i>You are not to put the Lord your God to the testi>b>.&#8217;&#8221;<n id="1" />

After he said, &#8220;From foreigners,&#8221; Jesus said to him, &#8220;Then the sons<n id="1" /> are free.

He asked, &#8220;Why? What wrong has he done?&#8221; But they shouted more insistently, &#8220;Crucify him!&#8221;p>

Then he brought them outside<n id="1" /> and asked, &#8220;Sirs, what must<n id="2" /> I do to be saved?&#8221;

So the commanding officer<n id="1" /> came and asked<n id="2" /> Paul,<n id="3" /> &#8220;Tell me, are you a Roman citizen?&#8221;<n id="4" /> He replied,<n id="5" /> &#8220;Yes.&#8221;

Agrippa<n id="1" /> said to Festus,<n id="2" /> &#8220;This man could have been released<n id="3" /> if he had not appealed to Caesar.&#8221;<n id="4" />p>

He said, &#8216;An enemy has done this.&#8217; So<n id="1" /> the slaves replied, &#8216;Do you want us to go and gather them?&#8217;

&#8220;Which ones?&#8221; he asked. Jesus replied, &#8220;<b><i>Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony,i>b>

So<n id="1" /> they answered Jesus,<n id="2" /> &#8220;We don&#8217;t know.&#8221;<n id="3" /> Then he said to them, &#8220;Neither will I tell you<n id="4" /> by what authority<n id="5" /> I am doing these things.p>

Jesus said to him, &#8220;I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> on this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.&#8221;

and declared, &#8220;This man<n id="1" /> said, &#8216;I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.&#8217;&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">John said to him, &#8220;Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him because he was not following us.&#8221;

Jesus said to them, &#8220;Aren&#8217;t you deceived<n id="1" /> for this reason, because you don&#8217;t know the scriptures or the power of God?

But when he came to his senses<n id="1" /> he said, &#8216;How many of my father&#8217;s hired workers have food<n id="2" /> enough to spare, but here I am dying from hunger!

So<n id="1" /> they all said, &#8220;Are you the Son of God,<n id="2" /> then?&#8221; He answered<n id="3" /> them, &#8220;You say<n id="4" /> that I am.&#8221;
