Then<n id="1" /> he said to them, &#8220;Do you still not understand?&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

He taught them many things in parables,<n id="1" /> and in his teaching said to them:

And he said, &#8220;Whoever has ears to hear had better listen!&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

(For Jesus<n id="1" /> had said to him, &#8220;Come out of that man, you unclean spirit!&#8221;)<n id="2" />

for she kept saying,<n id="1" /> &#8220;If only I touch his clothes, I will be healed.&#8221;<n id="2" />

But when Herod heard this, he said, &#8220;John, whom I beheaded, has been raised!&#8221;

He said, &#8220;What comes out of a person defiles him.

Regaining his sight<n id="1" /> he said, &#8220;I see people, but they look like trees walking.&#8221;

Then<n id="1" /> he said to them, &#8220;The Sabbath was made for people,<n id="2" /> not people for the Sabbath.

So<n id="1" /> he called them and spoke to them in parables:<n id="2" /> &#8220;How can Satan cast out Satan?

<t /><p class="bodytext">He also said, &#8220;The kingdom of God is like someone who spreads seed on the ground.

<t /><p class="bodytext">He also asked, &#8220;To what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable can we use to present it?

He said to them, &#8220;Wherever you enter a house, stay there<n id="1" /> until you leave the area.

For John had repeatedly told<n id="1" /> Herod, &#8220;It is not lawful for you to have your brother&#8217;s wife.&#8221;<n id="2" />

He also said to them, &#8220;You neatly reject the commandment of God in order to set up<n id="1" /> your tradition.

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> he called the crowd again and said to them, &#8220;Listen to me, everyone, and understand.

Immediately the father of the boy cried out and said, &#8220;I believe; help my unbelief!&#8221;p>

Pilate asked them, &#8220;Why? What has he done wrong?&#8221; But they shouted more insistently, &#8220;Crucify him!&#8221;

He said to them, &#8220;The secret<n id="1" /> of the kingdom of God has been given<n id="2" /> to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables,p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">He also said to them, &#8220;A lamp<n id="1" /> isn&#8217;t brought to be put under a basket<n id="2" /> or under a bed, is it? Isn&#8217;t it to be placed on a lampstand?
