But they did not find anything, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally<n id="1" /> two came forward

They took soundings<n id="1" /> and found the water was twenty fathoms<n id="2" /> deep; when they had sailed a little farther<n id="3" /> they took soundings again and found it was fifteen fathoms<n id="4" /> deep.

When they found him, they said, &#8220;Everyone is looking for you.&#8221;

So<n id="1" /> when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave<n id="2" /> well.p>

So those who were sent ahead found<n id="1" /> it exactly<n id="2" /> as he had told them.

So<n id="1" /> they went and found things<n id="2" /> just as he had told them,<n id="3" /> and they prepared the Passover.p>

They<n id="1" /> found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb,<n id="2" />

but when they went in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.<n id="1" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">As<n id="1" /> they were going out, they found a man from Cyrene named Simon, whom they forced<n id="2" /> to carry his cross.<n id="3" />

So<n id="1" /> they went and found a colt tied at a door, outside in the street, and untied it.

But the officers<n id="1" /> who came for them<n id="2" /> did not find them in the prison, so they returned and reported,<n id="3" />

When they had crossed over<n id="1" /> the whole island as far as Paphos,<n id="2" /> they found a magician, a Jewish false prophet named Bar-Jesus,<n id="3" />

I found he<n id="1" /> was accused with reference to controversial questions<n id="2" /> about their law, but no charge against him deserved death or imprisonment.<n id="3" />

Or these men here<n id="1" /> should tell what crime<n id="2" /> they found me guilty of<n id="3" /> when I stood before the council,<n id="4" />

When<n id="1" /> Jesus heard this he was amazed and said to those who followed him, &#8220;I tell you the truth,<n id="2" /> I have not found such faith in anyone in Israel!

And those slaves went out into the streets and gathered all they found, both bad and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

So<n id="1" /> the disciples left, went<n id="2" /> into the city, and found things just as he had told them,<n id="3" /> and they prepared the Passover.p>

After<n id="1" /> three days<n id="2" /> they found him in the temple courts,<n id="3" /> sitting among the teachers,<n id="4" /> listening to them and asking them questions.

Then<n id="1" /> when she has found it, she calls together her<n id="2" /> friends and neighbors, saying, &#8216;Rejoice<n id="3" /> with me, for I have found the coin<n id="4" /> that I had lost.&#8217;

A third time he said to them, &#8220;Why? What wrong has he done? I have found him guilty<n id="1" /> of no crime deserving death.<n id="2" /> I will therefore flog<n id="3" /> him and release him.&#8221;
