He answered them,<n id="1" /> &#8220;You<n id="2" /> unbelieving<n id="3" /> generation! How much longer<n id="4" /> must I be with you? How much longer must I endure<n id="5" /> you?<n id="6" /> Bring him to me.&#8221;

And the temple curtain<n id="1" /> was torn in two, from top to bottom.

He said to them, &#8220;Wherever you enter a house, stay there<n id="1" /> until you leave the area.

He swore to her,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Whatever you ask I will give you, up to half my kingdom.&#8221;<n id="2" />

He said to them, &#8220;My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay alert.&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> when it was noon,<n id="2" /> darkness came over the whole land<n id="3" /> until three in the afternoon.<n id="4" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Immediately Jesus<n id="1" /> made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he dispersed the crowd.

Then he will send angels and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.<n id="1" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> they went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus<n id="2" /> said to his disciples, &#8220;Sit here while I pray.&#8221;

And he said to them, &#8220;I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> there are some standing here who will not<n id="2" /> experience<n id="3" /> death before they see the kingdom of God come with power.&#8221;<n id="4" />p>

David himself, by the Holy Spirit, said,p> <p class="otpoetry">&#8216;<b><i>The Lord said to my lord,i>b><n id="1" />p> <p class="otpoetry">&#8220;<b><i>Sit at my right hand,i>b>p> <p class="otpoetry"><i><b>until I put your enemies under your feetb>.i>&#8221;&#8217;<n id="2" />p>

For in those days there will be suffering<n id="1" /> unlike anything that has happened<n id="2" /> from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, or ever will happen.

I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> I will no longer drink of the fruit<n id="2" /> of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.&#8221;

And Peter had followed him from a distance, up to the high priest&#8217;s courtyard. He<n id="1" /> was sitting with the guards<n id="2" /> and warming himself by the fire.
