But he said, ‘No, since in gathering the weeds you may uproot the wheat with them.

So Pilate came outside to them and said, &#8220;What accusation<n id="1" /> do you bring against this man?&#8221;<n id="2" />

and said, &#8216;Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your acts of charity<n id="1" /> have been remembered before God.<n id="2" />

(When they heard<n id="1" /> that he was addressing<n id="2" /> them in Aramaic,<n id="3" /> they became even<n id="4" /> quieter.)<n id="5" /> Then<n id="6" /> Paul said,

Agrippa<n id="1" /> said to Festus,<n id="2" /> &#8220;I would also like to hear the man myself.&#8221; &#8220;Tomorrow,&#8221; he replied,<n id="3" /> &#8220;you will hear him.&#8221;p>

But Paul replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;I have not lost my mind, most excellent Festus,<n id="2" /> but am speaking<n id="3" /> true and rational<n id="4" /> words.

Instructed by her mother, she said, &#8220;Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter.&#8221;

So<n id="1" /> Jesus answered him,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Simon, I have something to say to you.&#8221; He replied,<n id="3" /> &#8220;Say it, Teacher.&#8221;

Now as they were going along the road, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, &#8220;Look, there is water! What is to stop me<n id="1" /> from being baptized?&#8221;

&#8220;So,&#8221; he said, &#8220;let your leaders<n id="1" /> go down there<n id="2" /> with me, and if this man has done anything wrong,<n id="3" /> they may bring charges<n id="4" /> against him.&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">As Paul<n id="1" /> was saying these things in his defense, Festus<n id="2" /> exclaimed loudly, &#8220;You have lost your mind,<n id="3" /> Paul! Your great learning is driving you insane!&#8221;

Or do you not know that anyone who is united with<n id="1" /> a prostitute is one body with her?<n id="2" /> For it is said, &#8220;<b><i>The two will become one fleshi>b>.&#8221;<n id="3" />

because some say, &#8220;His letters are weighty and forceful, but his physical presence is weak<n id="1" /> and his speech is of no account.&#8221;<n id="2" />

After the city secretary<n id="1" /> quieted the crowd, he said, &#8220;Men of Ephesus, what person<n id="2" /> is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is the keeper<n id="3" /> of the temple of the great Artemis<n id="4" /> and of her image that fell from heaven?<n id="5" />

So the centurion<n id="1" /> took him and brought him to the commanding officer<n id="2" /> and said, &#8220;The prisoner Paul called<n id="3" /> me and asked me to bring this young man to you because he has something to tell you.&#8221;

The place where they serve is<n id="1" /> a sketch<n id="2" /> and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary, just as Moses was warned by God as he was about to complete the tabernacle. For he says, &#8220;<b><i>See that you make everything according to the designi>b><n id="3" /> <b><i>shown to you on the mountaini>b>.&#8221;<n id="4" />

Then Festus<n id="1" /> said, &#8220;King Agrippa,<n id="2" /> and all you who are present here with us, you see this man about whom the entire Jewish populace<n id="3" /> petitioned<n id="4" /> me both in Jerusalem<n id="5" /> and here,<n id="6" /> shouting loudly<n id="7" /> that he ought not to live any longer.
