The one who conquers<n id="1" /> I will make<n id="2" /> a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never depart from it. I<n id="3" /> will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from my God),<n id="4" /> and my new name as well.

I am also aware<n id="1" /> that you have persisted steadfastly,<n id="2" /> endured much for the sake of my name, and have not grown weary.

&#8216;I know<n id="1" /> where you live &#8211; where Satan&#8217;s throne is. Yet<n id="2" /> you continue to cling<n id="3" /> to my name and you have not denied your<n id="4" /> faith in me,<n id="5" /> even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness,<n id="6" /> who was killed in your city<n id="7" /> where Satan lives.

I will grant the one<n id="1" /> who conquers<n id="2" /> permission<n id="3" /> to sit with me on my throne, just as I too conquered<n id="4" /> and sat down with my Father on his throne.

So<n id="1" /> I took the little scroll from the angel&#8217;s hand and ate it, and it did taste<n id="2" /> as sweet as honey in my mouth, but<n id="3" /> when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

I was in the Spirit<n id="1" /> on the Lord&#8217;s Day<n id="2" /> when<n id="3" /> I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going<n id="1" /> to vomit<n id="2" /> you out of my mouth!

And I will grant my two witnesses authority<n id="1" /> to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.

The one who conquers<n id="1" /> will be dressed like them<n id="2" /> in white clothing,<n id="3" /> and I will never<n id="4" /> erase<n id="5" /> his name from the book of life, but<n id="6" /> will declare<n id="7" /> his name before my Father and before his angels.

Because you have kept<n id="1" /> my admonition<n id="2" /> to endure steadfastly,<n id="3" /> I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

Listen!<n id="1" /> I am standing at the door and knocking! If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come into his home<n id="2" /> and share a meal with him, and he with me.
