Then people from Jerusalem,<n id="1" /> as well as all Judea and all the region around the Jordan, were going out to him,

When King Herod<n id="1" /> heard this he was alarmed, and all Jerusalem with him.

Now when Jesus<n id="1" /> realized what they were thinking, he said to them,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed,<n id="3" /> and no town or house divided against itself will stand.

As he entered Jerusalem the whole city was thrown into an uproar,<n id="1" /> saying, &#8220;Who is this?&#8221;

Then<n id="1" /> the entire town<n id="2" /> came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.p>

For this reason I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy,<n id="1" /> but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

And he replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted.

And if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

Then Jesus came up and said to them,<n id="1" /> &#8220;All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

And he said,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Go!&#8221; So<n id="2" /> they came out and went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep slope into the lake and drowned in the water.
