I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”p>

Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit,<n id="1" /> and he cried out,<n id="2" />

Just as Jesus<n id="1" /> was getting out of the boat, a man with an unclean spirit<n id="2" /> came from the tombs and met him.<n id="3" />

Now<n id="1" /> immediately, when Jesus realized in his spirit that they were contemplating such thoughts,<n id="2" /> he said to them, &#8220;Why are you thinking such things in your hearts?<n id="3" />

Sighing deeply in his spirit he said, &#8220;Why does this generation look for a sign? I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> no sign will be given to this generation.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">Now when Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked<n id="1" /> the unclean spirit,<n id="2" /> saying to it, &#8220;Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.&#8221;
