When evening came, Jesus and his disciples<n id="1" /> went out of the city.p>

When evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea and he was alone on the land.

So<n id="1" /> the news about him spread quickly throughout all the region around Galilee.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">So<n id="1" /> they came to the other side of the lake, to the region of the Gerasenes.<n id="2" />

He begged Jesus<n id="1" /> repeatedly not to send them out of the region.

What can a person give in exchange for his life?

But Jesus gently took his hand and raised him to his feet, and he stood up.p>

The inscription<n id="1" /> of the charge against him read, &#8220;The king of the Jews.&#8221;

He<n id="1" /> saw them straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. As the night was ending,<n id="2" /> he came to them walking on the sea,<n id="3" /> for<n id="4" /> he wanted to pass by them.<n id="5" />

And <b><i>to love him with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your strengthi>b><n id="1" /> and <b><i>to love your neighbor as yourselfi>b><n id="2" /> is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.&#8221;

I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> I will no longer drink of the fruit<n id="2" /> of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> as soon as they left the synagogue,<n id="2" /> they entered Simon and Andrew&#8217;s house, with James and John.

He came and raised her up by gently taking her hand. Then the fever left her and she began to serve<n id="1" /> them.
