<p class="bodytext">&#8220;To what then should I compare the people<n id="1" /> of this generation, and what are they like?

<t /><p class="bodytext">Thus Jesus<n id="1" /> asked,<n id="2" /> &#8220;What is the kingdom of God<n id="3" /> like?<n id="4" /> To<n id="5" /> what should I compare it?

<p class="bodytext">Again<n id="1" /> he said, &#8220;To what should I compare the kingdom of God?<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Salt<n id="1" /> is good, but if salt loses its flavor,<n id="2" /> how can its flavor be restored?

&#8220;A certain creditor<n id="1" /> had two debtors; one owed him<n id="2" /> five hundred silver coins,<n id="3" /> and the other fifty.

He said,<n id="1" /> &#8220;In a certain city<n id="2" /> there was a judge<n id="3" /> who neither feared God nor respected people.<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Everyone who comes to me and listens to my words and puts them into practice<n id="1" /> &#8211; I will show you what he is like:

Now if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons<n id="1" /> cast them<n id="2" /> out? Therefore they will be your judges.

But God said to him, &#8216;You fool! This very night your life<n id="1" /> will be demanded back from<n id="2" /> you, but who will get what you have prepared for yourself?&#8217;<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> Jesus<n id="2" /> was praying in a certain place. When<n id="3" /> he stopped, one of his disciples said to him, &#8220;Lord, teach us to pray, just as John<n id="4" /> taught<n id="5" /> his disciples.&#8221;

Then<n id="1" /> he said to them, &#8220;Watch out and guard yourself from<n id="2" /> all types of greed,<n id="3" /> because one&#8217;s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.&#8221;
