And in the same way he took<n id="1" /> the cup after they had eaten,<n id="2" /> saying, &#8220;This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant<n id="3" /> in my blood.p>

Therefore see to it<n id="1" /> that the light in you<n id="2" /> is not darkness.

You fools!<n id="1" /> Didn&#8217;t the one who made the outside make the inside as well?<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Salt<n id="1" /> is good, but if salt loses its flavor,<n id="2" /> how can its flavor be restored?

&#8220;Father, if you are willing, take<n id="1" /> this cup<n id="2" /> away from me. Yet not my will but yours<n id="3" /> be done.&#8221;

So<n id="1" /> Pilate<n id="2" /> decided<n id="3" /> that their demand should be granted.

so that this generation may be held accountable<n id="1" /> for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning<n id="2" /> of the world,<n id="3" />

So<n id="1" /> Simeon,<n id="2" /> directed by the Spirit,<n id="3" /> came into the temple courts,<n id="4" /> and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what was customary according to the law,<n id="5" />

The good person out of the good treasury of his<n id="1" /> heart<n id="2" /> produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasury<n id="3" /> produces evil, for his mouth speaks<n id="4" /> from what fills<n id="5" /> his heart.p>

For I tell you that this scripture must be<n id="1" /> fulfilled in me, &#8216;<b><i>And he was counted with the transgressorsi>b>.&#8217;<n id="2" /> For what is written about me is being fulfilled.&#8221;<n id="3" />

Why<n id="1" /> do you see the speck<n id="2" /> in your brother&#8217;s eye, but fail to see<n id="3" /> the beam of wood<n id="4" /> in your own?

That<n id="1" /> servant who knew his master&#8217;s will but did not get ready or do what his master asked<n id="2" /> will receive a severe beating.

Now<n id="1" /> when he approached Bethphage<n id="2" /> and Bethany, at the place called the Mount of Olives,<n id="3" /> he sent two of the disciples,

<p class="bodytext">So<n id="1" /> every day Jesus<n id="2" /> was teaching in the temple courts,<n id="3" /> but at night he went and stayed<n id="4" /> on the Mount of Olives.<n id="5" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> Jesus<n id="2" /> went out and made his way,<n id="3" /> as he customarily did, to the Mount of Olives,<n id="4" /> and the disciples followed him.

Then<n id="1" /> one of them<n id="2" /> struck the high priest&#8217;s slave,<n id="3" /> cutting off his right ear.

<p class="bodytext">When day came, the council of the elders of the people gathered together, both the chief priests and the experts in the law.<n id="1" /> Then<n id="2" /> they led Jesus<n id="3" /> away to their council<n id="4" />

The<n id="1" /> women who had accompanied Jesus<n id="2" /> from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it.
