<t /><p class="bodytext">Now on the topic of times and seasons,<n id="1" /> brothers and sisters,<n id="2" /> you have no need for anything to be written to you.

For you became imitators, brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> of God&#8217;s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, because you too suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they in fact did from the Jews,

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus our deliverer from the coming wrath.<n id="1" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">We thank God always for all of you as we mention you constantly<n id="1" /> in our prayers,

who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets<n id="1" /> and persecuted us severely.<n id="2" /> They are displeasing to God and are opposed to all people,

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now we do not want you to be uninformed,<n id="1" /> brothers and sisters,<n id="2" /> about those who are asleep,<n id="3" /> so that you will not grieve like the rest who have no hope.

And we urge you, brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> admonish the undisciplined, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient toward all.

For people everywhere<n id="1" /> report how you welcomed us<n id="2" /> and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God

so that your hearts are strengthened in holiness to be blameless before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.<n id="1" />p>
