Although he was a son, he learned obedience through the things he suffered. ¹ 

And against whom was God ¹  provoked for forty years? Was it not those who sinned, whose dead bodies fell in the wilderness? ² 

And above the ark ¹  were the cherubim ²  of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Now is not the time to speak of these things in detail.

(the world was not worthy of them); they wandered in deserts and mountains and caves and openings in the earth.

Remember your leaders, who spoke God’s message to you; reflect on the outcome of their lives and imitate their faith.

For the bodies of those animals whose blood the high priest brings ¹  into the sanctuary as an offering for sin are burned outside the camp.

The Son is ¹  the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, ²  and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. ³
