<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;If a resident foreigner who is with you prospers<n id="1" /> and your brother becomes impoverished with regard to him so that<n id="2" /> he sells himself to a resident foreigner who is with you or to a member<n id="3" /> of a foreigner&#8217;s family,

The foreigner who resides with you must be to you like a native citizen among you; so<n id="1" /> you must love him as yourself, because you were foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am the <sc>Lordsc> your God.

When a foreigner resides<n id="1" /> with you in your land, you must not oppress him.

There will be one regulation<n id="1" /> for you, whether a foreigner or a native citizen, for I am the <sc>Lordsc> your God.&#8217;&#8221;p>

The land must not be sold without reclaim<n id="1" /> because the land belongs to me, for you are foreigners and residents with me.<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;If your brother<n id="1" /> becomes impoverished and is indebted to you,<n id="2" /> you must support<n id="3" /> him; he must live<n id="4" /> with you like a foreign resident.<n id="5" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You are to say to them: &#8216;Any man<n id="1" /> from the house of Israel or<n id="2" /> from the foreigners who reside<n id="3" /> in their<n id="4" /> midst, who offers<n id="5" /> a burnt offering or a sacrifice

Therefore, I have said to the Israelites: No person among you is to eat blood,<n id="1" /> and no resident foreigner who lives among you is to eat blood.<n id="2" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;Any person<n id="1" /> who eats an animal that has died of natural causes<n id="2" /> or an animal torn by beasts, whether a native citizen or a foreigner,<n id="3" /> must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening; then he becomes clean.

You yourselves must obey<n id="1" /> my statutes and my regulations and must not do any of these abominations, both the native citizen and the resident foreigner in your midst,<n id="2" />

You must not pick your vineyard bare,<n id="1" /> and you must not gather up the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You must leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the <sc>Lordsc> your God.p>

and one who misuses<n id="1" /> the name of the <sc>Lordsc> must surely be put to death. The whole congregation must surely stone him, whether he is a foreigner or a native citizen; when he misuses the Name he must be put to death.p>

&#8220;You are to say to the Israelites, &#8216;Any man from the Israelites or from the foreigners who reside in Israel<n id="1" /> who gives any of his children<n id="2" /> to Molech<n id="3" /> must be put to death; the people of the land must pelt him with stones.<n id="4" />

&#8220;Speak to Aaron, his sons, and all the Israelites and tell them, &#8216;When any man<n id="1" /> from the house of Israel or from the foreigners in Israel<n id="2" /> presents his offering for any of the votive or freewill offerings which they present to the <sc>Lordsc> as a burnt offering,

When you gather in the harvest<n id="1" /> of your land, you must not completely harvest the corner of your field,<n id="2" /> and you must not gather up the gleanings of your harvest. You must leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the <sc>Lordsc> your God.&#8217;&#8221;<n id="3" />p>
