The <sc>Lordsc> then addressed good, comforting words to the angelic messenger who was speaking to me.

At this point the angelic messenger<n id="1" /> who spoke to me went out, and another messenger came to meet him

<t /><p class="bodytext">The angelic messenger<n id="1" /> who had been speaking with me then returned and woke me, as a person is wakened from sleep.

Then I asked the messenger who spoke with me, &#8220;What are these,<n id="1" /> sir?&#8221;

I asked the messenger who was speaking to me, &#8220;Where are they taking the basket?&#8221;

Then I asked the angelic messenger<n id="1" /> who was speaking with me, &#8220;What are these, sir?&#8221;

For the household gods<n id="1" /> have spoken wickedness, the soothsayers have seen a lie, and as for the dreamers, they have disclosed emptiness and give comfort in vain. Therefore the people set out like sheep and become scattered because they have no shepherd.<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then I asked one nearby, &#8220;What are these, sir?&#8221; The angelic messenger<n id="1" /> who replied to me said, &#8220;I will show you what these are.&#8221;

Turning to me, the messenger then said, &#8220;Cry out that the <sc>Lordsc> who rules over all says, &#8216;I am very much moved<n id="1" /> for Jerusalem and for Zion.

and said to him, &#8220;Hurry, speak to this young man<n id="1" /> as follows: &#8216;Jerusalem will no longer be enclosed by walls<n id="2" /> because of the multitude of people and animals there.

He replied, &#8220;Don&#8217;t you know what these are?&#8221; So I responded, &#8220;No, sir.&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">After this the angelic messenger<n id="1" /> who had been speaking to me went out and said, &#8220;Look, see what is leaving.&#8221;

Then he cried out to me, &#8220;Look! The ones going to the northland have brought me<n id="1" /> peace about the northland.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

These are the things you must do: Speak the truth, each of you, to one another. Practice true and righteous judgment in your courts.<n id="1" />

So I asked the angelic messenger<n id="1" /> who spoke with me, &#8220;What are these?&#8221; He replied, &#8220;These are the horns<n id="2" /> that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.&#8221;<n id="3" />

<p class="poetry">I will remove<n id="1" /> the chariot from Ephraimp> <p class="poetry">and the warhorse from Jerusalem,p> <p class="poetry">and the battle bow will be removed.p> <p class="poetry">Then he will announce peace to the nations.p> <p class="poetry">His dominion will be from sea to seap> <p class="poetry">and from the Euphrates River<n id="2" /> to the ends of the earth.p>

Then, if anyone prophesies in spite of this, his father and mother to whom he was born will say to him, &#8216;You cannot live, for you lie in the name of the <sc>Lordsc>.&#8217; Then his father and mother to whom he was born will run him through with a sword when he prophesies.<n id="1" />p>
