<p class="bodytext">Moses went up the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> came down on Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain, and the <sc>Lordsc> summoned Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

You must set boundaries<n id="1" /> for the people all around, saying, &#8216;Take heed<n id="2" /> to yourselves not to go up on the mountain nor touch its edge. Whoever touches the mountain will surely be put to death!

Now Mount Sinai was completely covered with smoke because the <sc>Lordsc> had descended on it in fire, and its smoke went up like the smoke of a great furnace,<n id="1" /> and the whole mountain shook<n id="2" /> violently.

Moses went into the cloud when he went up<n id="1" /> the mountain, and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.<n id="2" />p>

Be prepared<n id="1" /> in the morning, and go up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and station yourself<n id="2" /> for me there on the top of the mountain.

Now be sure to make<n id="1" /> them according to the pattern you were shown<n id="2" /> on the mountain.<n id="3" />p>

You are to set up the tabernacle according to the plan<n id="1" /> that you were shown on the mountain.p>

So the Israelites stripped off their ornaments by Mount Horeb.p>

<p class="poetry">You will bring them in<n id="1" /> and plant them in the mountain<n id="2" /> of your inheritance,p> <p class="poetry">in the place you made<n id="3" /> for your residence, O Lord,p> <p class="poetry">the sanctuary, O <sc>Lordsc>, that your hands have established.p>

After they journeyed<n id="1" /> from Rephidim, they came to the Desert of Sinai, and they camped in the desert; Israel camped there in front of the mountain.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.

Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they took their place at the foot of the mountain.

So Moses set out<n id="1" /> with<n id="2" /> Joshua his attendant, and Moses went up the mountain of God.

Now the appearance of the glory of the <sc>Lordsc> was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in plain view<n id="1" /> of the people.

You are to make the altar hollow, out of boards. Just as it was shown you<n id="1" /> on the mountain, so they must make it.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Moses said to the <sc>Lordsc>, &#8220;The people are not able to come up to Mount Sinai, because you solemnly warned us,<n id="1" /> &#8216;Set boundaries for the mountain and set it apart.&#8217;&#8221;<n id="2" />

No one is to come up with you; do not let anyone be seen anywhere on the mountain; not even the flocks or the herds may graze in front of that mountain.&#8221;

<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">Now when Moses came down<n id="2" /> from Mount Sinai with<n id="3" /> the two tablets of the testimony in his hand<n id="4" /> &#8211; when he came down<n id="5" /> from the mountain, Moses<n id="6" /> did not know that the skin of his face shone<n id="7" /> while he talked with him.

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> said<n id="1" /> to Aaron, &#8220;Go to the wilderness to meet Moses. So he went and met him at the mountain of God<n id="2" /> and greeted him with a kiss.<n id="3" />
