Look! I have already given the land to you.<n id="1" /> Go, occupy the territory that I,<n id="2" /> the <sc>Lordsc>, promised<n id="3" /> to give to your ancestors<n id="4" /> Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to their descendants.&#8221;<n id="5" />

For the land where you are headed<n id="1" /> is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, a land where you planted seed and which you irrigated by hand<n id="2" /> like a vegetable garden.

Today I invoke heaven and earth as a witness against you that I have set life and death, blessing and curse, before you. Therefore choose life so that you and your descendants may live!
