The king<n id="1" /> asked them, &#8220;Describe the appearance<n id="2" /> of this man who came up to meet you and told you these things.&#8221;

The king of Israel said, &#8220;Oh no!<n id="1" /> Certainly the <sc>Lordsc> has summoned these three kings so that he can hand them over to the king of Moab!&#8221;

But the chief adviser said to them, &#8220;My master did not send me to speak these words only to your master and to you.<n id="1" /> His message is also for the men who sit on the wall, for they will eat their own excrement and drink their own urine along with you.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

Isaiah the prophet visited King Hezekiah and asked him, &#8220;What did these men say? Where do they come from?&#8221; Hezekiah replied, &#8220;They come from the distant land of Babylon.&#8221;

&#8220;King Manasseh of Judah has committed horrible sins.<n id="1" /> He has sinned more than the Amorites before him and has encouraged Judah to sin by worshiping his disgusting idols.<n id="2" />

When Josiah turned around, he saw the tombs there on the hill. So he ordered the bones from the tombs to be brought;<n id="1" /> he burned them on the altar and defiled it. This fulfilled the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s announcement made by the prophet while Jeroboam stood by the altar during a festival. King Josiah<n id="2" /> turned and saw the grave of the prophet who had foretold this.<n id="3" />

He asked, &#8220;What is this grave marker I see?&#8221; The men from the city replied, &#8220;It&#8217;s the grave of the prophet<n id="1" /> who came from Judah and foretold these very things you have done to the altar of Bethel.&#8221;

Each of the pillars was about twenty-seven feet<n id="1" /> high. The bronze top of one pillar was about four and a half feet<n id="2" /> high and had bronze latticework and pomegranate shaped ornaments all around it. The second pillar with its latticework was like it.p>
