They<n id="3" /> did to Debir and its king what they<n id="4" /> had done to Libnah and its king and to Hebron.<n id="5" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Joshua told the people, &#8220;Ritually consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the <sc>Lordsc> will perform miraculous deeds among you.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">When the residents of Gibeon heard what Joshua did to Jericho<n id="1" /> and Ai,
